Meet Leah Agnes Barden

After nearly 20 years as a high school volleyball and basketball coach, life led me down an unexpected but beautiful new path. I started working at a local flower shop and fell in love with the art of floral design. Around the same time, my sister-in-law introduced me to resin flower preservation—and I was instantly hooked.

What began with curiosity quickly turned into passion. I dove into learning everything I could, from drying techniques with silica sand to working with high-quality resin. Now, I get to turn meaningful flowers from weddings, memorials, and special moments into lasting works of art—and I truly love every minute of it.

Preserving your flowers is a thoughtful and detailed process that takes approximately four to six months from start to finish

Drying Phase

Once your flowers are dropped off, Leah Agnes Designs begins by carefully drying them fully - a critical step that takes around four weeks

Design Consultation:

After the drying phase is complete, you’ll receive communication to discuss design preferences and layout options for your final pieces.

Resin Casting Phase:

Your flowers are then cast in high-quality epoxy resin. This step is done slowly and precisely, using thin layers no thinker than 1/4 inch at a time to ensure clarity and quality

Finishing Touches:

Once fully cured, each piece is meticulously sanded, and imperfections are smoothed, and a final topcoat is applied if needed. The piece is then polished and ready for pickup or shipment.

At every stage, we take the utmost care to honor the beauty and sentiment behind your flowers - creating a timeless keepsake that’s as special as the memories it holds.
